Jeep to introduce all-electric Compass

Jeep Compass EV in the works

Jeep India plans to launch the new-generation Compass (J4U) with an electric powertrain option in 2026.

Design

Built on Stellantis's STLA Medium platform, the electric SUV will feature Matrix LED headlamps, wrap-around LED taillamps, and designer 18-inch wheels.

Performance

The EV will be offered with battery packs up to 98kWh, providing over 500km of range with a 'Standard' pack and exceeding 700km with a 'Performance' pack.

Interiors

Its five-seater cabin is expected to remain largely unchanged and get a dual-tone dashboard, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, and a 10.1-inch infotainment panel.

Expectation

Jeep is all set to introduce the new-generation Compass EV in the Indian market in 2026. This forthcoming rough-roader will focus on electrification while also supporting petrol and diesel engines.
