India-made Jimny arrives in Australia

Jimny's Australia launch

Maruti Suzuki has launched its made-in-India Jimny SUV in Australia, priced at AUD 34,990 (around Rs. 18.6 lakh).

XL model features

The five-door Maruti Suzuki Jimny XL model features an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite and seven exterior color options.

Engine & gearbox

Powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine, the Maruti Suzuki Jimny XL offers a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic gearbox.

Thunder edition

The Australian launch follows the Indian debut in June and the recent introduction of the more affordable Thunder Edition.

The Maruti Suzuki Jimny goes head-to-head with the Mahindra Thar SUV in both India as well as Australian markets.
