Hydrogen-powered Burgman in the works

Suzuki revealed its hydrogen-fueled Burgman test scooter at the ongoing Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo.

Design

Sporting a split-type headlight, muscular bodywork, and a contoured single-piece seat, the scooter retains the hardware configuration of its petrol-powered version.

Performance

The prototype features a 70Mpa hydrogen tank, likely to be situated beneath the floorboard and connected directly to the engine. Suzuki is focusing on a combustion system rather than a fuel cell.

Safety

To ensure the safety of the rider, the Burgman prototype comes equipped with disc brakes on both wheels, along with dual-channel ABS for better braking performance.

Expectation

While there is no official timeline for the hydrogen-powered Burgman's release, Suzuki is expected to announce the details regarding its launch soon.
