Honda is bringing back its iconic 1980s micro-scooter, the Motocompo, as a new all-electric model called, Motocompacto.

Design
The Motocompacto takes inspiration from the Honda Motocompo from the 80s. The lightweight foldable scooter is designed for easy transportation and storage, making it ideal for urban commuters.

Performance
Its aluminum frame with an onboard charger and a compact battery pack weighs 18.6kg. The lightweight EV promises a range of up to 19.3km per charge and a recharge time of 3.5 hours.

Safety
It comes equipped with a drum-type brake on the rear wheel to ensure rider safety. With a top speed of just 24km/h, it is essentially a replacement for other compact electric stand-up scooters.

Pricing
With a price tag of under $995 (roughly Rs. 83,000), the e-scooter is set to hit the market in November as part of the Japanese marque's ambitious EV push.
