Price cut for Hero VIDA V1

Hero MotoCorp has revised the pricing of its first all-electric offering, the VIDA V1 in India. The e-scooter now starts at Rs. 1.2 lakh (ex-showroom).

Design

Hero VIDA V1 has a quirky design and features an apron-mounted LED headlight, a flat footboard, a wide handlebar, split-type seats, wide body panels, and a sleek LED taillight.

Performance

The Hero VIDA V1 runs on a hub-mounted motor paired with either a 3.44kWh or 3.94kWh removable battery pack. The EV promises a range of up to 165km on a single charge.

Safety

For the safety of the rider, the Hero VIDA V1 comes equipped with disc brakes on both wheels, Combined Braking System (CBS), riding modes, telescopic front forks, and a rear mono-shock unit.

Pricing

In India, the Hero VIDA V1 can be yours with a revised price tag of Rs. 1.2 lakh (ex-showroom). This makes the EV cheaper by up to Rs. 25,000. It rivals the Ather 450X, Ola S1, and TVS iQube.
