Ducati has unveiled the Hypermotard 698 Mono with a price tag of $12,995 in the US market.

Design
It features a prominent beak, a smallish LED headlamp with integrated DRLs, a sloping fuel tank with extensions, a long and flat-type seat, dual under-seat exhausts, and 17-inch forged wheels.

Performance
Powering the Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono is the new 659cc, Superquadro Mono, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that puts out a maximum power of 77.5hp and 63Nm of peak torque.

Safety
To ensure the safety of the rider, the Hypermotard 698 Mono comes equipped with disc brakes on both wheels, along with cornering ABS, a traction control system, and riding modes.

In the US market, the Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono starts at $12,995 (roughly Rs. 10.82 lakh). It rivals the capable KTM 690 SMC R in the middleweight supermoto segment.
