UK design group Callum has unveiled its first self-branded electric off-roader, the Callum Skye, targeting a weight of 1,150kg and 50-50 weight distribution.

Impressive specs
The compact two-door model features a twin-motor, all-wheel-drive system and aims for a sub-4.0-second 0-97km/h time with a range of 273.5km per charge.

The Skye's steel spaceframe chassis offers generous ground clearance, custom all-independent suspension, and a composite body for weight reduction.

Ultra-fast charging
The company plans to offer an optional battery capable of ultra-fast charging, 0-100% in just 10 minutes - through its collaboration with advanced battery manufacturer Nybolt.

Price
Callum aims to produce up to 50 Skyes at its Warwickshire facility in the UK, with a target price of around £100,000 (around Rs. 1.04 crore).
