BMW has opened pre-bookings for the limited-edition 220i M Performance Edition, which is set to launch on September 7.

Design

The design of the 2 Series M Performance Edition features several distinctive elements such as the new-age kidney grille and M Performance badging, that set it apart from other models in the line-up.

Performance

Globally, the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition comes equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that generates 173hp of maximum power and 280Nm of peak torque.

Interiors

Inside, the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition gets a sporty yet luxurious cabin with premium Alcantara leather upholstery on the seats, gear lever, and door pads.

Pricing

The M Performance Edition follows the launch of the M Sport Pro variant in India, which is priced at Rs. 45.5 lakh (ex-showroom). The former is expected to carry a premium over the latter.
