Yamaha XSR900 GP unveiled

Yamaha unveils the 2024 XSR900 GP, a heritage-inspired supersport with cosmetic updates and hardware upgrades.

Design

The retro-styled motorcycle features a rounded semi-fairing, LED headlamp, sleek windscreen, and clip-on handlebar, available in Legend Red and Power Gray.

Performance

Powering the Yamaha XSR900 GP is the iconic 890cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC, inline-triple, "CP3" engine that develops 117.34hp of maximum power at 10,000rpm and 93Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm.

Safety

Safety features include disc brakes, lean-sensitive traction control, cornering ABS, and four riding modes. The XSR900 GP boasts a fully adjustable suspension setup from KYB.

Expectation

While Yamaha has not disclosed the pricing of the 2024 XSR900 GP yet, we expect the retro-inspired motorcycle to carry a premium over the regular XSR900 model.
