Swedish automaker Polestar has unveiled the 2024 iteration of its all-electric sedan, the 2, for the global markets. It gets significant revisions to its powertrain.

Design

The 2024 Polestar 2 flaunts a long and muscular bonnet, sleek LED headlamps with Thor's Hammer DRLs, a closed-off grille with a "SmartZone," designer wheels, and wrap-around LED taillights.

Performance

The 2024 Polestar 2 is backed by either a single-motor in rear-wheel-drive setup that generates 299hp/489Nm or a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive configuration that develops 421hp/740Nm.

Interior

The 2024 Polestar 2 gets a spacious cabin with a special 'WeaveTech' upholstery, a glass roof, a seat-activated start/stop system, ambient lighting, multiple airbags, and ADAS functions.

Price

The pricing of the 2024 Polestar 2 will be disclosed by the automaker soon. We expect it to carry a premium over the outgoing model, which starts at $49,800 (roughly Rs. 40.6 lakh) in the US.
