BMW revealed the 2024 R 12 lineup

BMW Motorrad unveiled the 2024 R 12 and R 12 nineT motorcycles, featuring a new 1,170cc air-and-oil-cooled boxer engine, for the global markets.

Design

The retro-inspired BMW R 12 range flaunts a muscular fuel tank, a round LED headlamp, a wide handlebar with bar-end mirrors, an upswept exhaust, and a slim tail section with an LED taillight.

Performance

Powering the revised BMW R 12 lineup is an all-new 1,170cc air-and-oil-cooled boxer engine with dual overhead camshafts. The motor is offered in two tunes: 95hp/110Nm () and 109hp/115Nm.

Safety

The motorcycles come equipped with disc brakes on both wheels cornering ABS, Automatic Stability Control (ASC), ride-by-wire throttle, and multiple riding modes as standard to ensure rider safety.

Expectation

The updated BMW R 12 range is set to arrive in the US market in Q1 of 2024, with pricing details to be revealed closer to their launch. We expect them to carry a premium over the outgoing models.
