2023 KTM 890 SMT revealed

2023 KTM 890 SMT debuts

Austrian marque KTM has taken the wraps off the 2023 890 SMT for the global markets. It is dubbed by the brand as its ultimate Supermoto Tourer.

Design

The 2023 KTM 890 SMT flaunts an upright windscreen, an angular headlamp, split-type seats, a side-slung Akrapovic exhaust, a 5.0-inch TFT instrument cluster, and 17-inch lightweight alloy wheels.

Performance

The 2023 KTM 890 SMT is fueled by an 890cc, liquid-cooled, LC8c, parallel-twin engine that develops 105hp/100Nm. It is linked to a 6-speed gearbox, along with a PASC anti-hopping clutch.

Safety

For rider safety, the 2023 KTM 890 SMT comes equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, along with cornering ABS with Supermoto mode, traction control, and three riding modes.

Pricing

KTM is yet to reveal the pricing of the 2023 890 SMT. We believe the motorcycle will carry a premium over the 890 Adventure R, on which it is based on.

Enhanced rider safety

The 2023 KTM 890 SMT ensures rider safety with disc brakes, cornering ABS, and traction control. It also has a suspension system with "WP APEX" inverted forks and mono-shock unit.
