A Polish man has been arrested for locking up a woman in a barn and keeping her as a sex slave for four years. During her confinement, she claims she was subjected to cruel experiments, including the removal of all her teeth and lips by the man, now referred to as "Poland's Josef Fritzl." Fritzl is an Austrian kidnapper and rapist who held his daughter captive in a basement dungeon that he built under his house for 20 years.

Malgorzata's ordeal came to light after she sought treatment for a dislocated shoulder at a local hospital, where she confided in fellow patients about her repeated rape and torture. She told patients that she was frequently raped and tormented while trapped within an outbuilding, even becoming pregnant and birthing his child. Malgorzata was forced to give up her baby for adoption against her will. Doctors treating her discovered extensive facial damage along with numerous abrasions and scars covering her body.

Malgorzata shared her living conditions with MyGlogow, stating, "He put a balaclava on me so I wouldn't see where we lived." She also revealed that Jach would take her out at night to wash up, sometimes using a hose. If she was obedient, she would receive warm water. She was even taken to hospital on several occasions, but was too afraid to tell anyone about her plight.

Victim's plight revealed by fellow patient
The barn where she was held was said to be only 13 feet away from the captor's unsuspecting neighbors, who described him as a "loner" and a "freak." Finally, on August 27, the victim manage to alert hospital staff to her terrifying predicament while seeking treatment. The alleged victim, now 30, told the Telegraph, "I could not tell the doctors the truth." "I was afraid and he threatened me that if I complained, it would get even worse."

"From what we heard, the girl does not have lips now because of everything he had done to her. Her face is covered in bruises and she just has an open hole [where her mouth is] without the lips," a source close to the investigation said. "The woman said he was doing some kind of trial on her. He was experimenting on her. He was trying out different things on her," the Sun quoted the source as saying.

Captivity began after online meeting
Malgorzata first met Jach on a dating site in 2019 when she was in her twenties. She traveled to the village of Gaiki, near Glogow, Poland, to meet him for the first time. The alleged captor, 35-year-old Mateusz Jach, was charged with mental, physical and sexual abuse. Jach has refuted all the allegations against him since being arrested and charged on August 30.
