The incident took place in Jennings County, Indiana, and was reported to the police by the victim- another woman from Country Squire Lakes area- on July 22.

Childers wore teeth that were 'clearly not hers' in meeting
The probation officer reportedly told the police that Childers "had worn teeth to her probation meeting that clearly were not hers."
He surmised that the dentures could have been stolen.
On July 24, Deputy Chris Gholson paid Childers a visit at her home and found the dentures lying "in plain view."
The dentures, which bore the victim's name, were recovered and Childers was booked.

#That'sNasty: Sheriff's Office detailed crime in hilarious Facebook post
The bizarre crime left people chortling, including the Jennings County Sheriff's Office itself.
In a humorous Facebook post, the sheriff's office used a litany of hashtags such as: #wheresmyteeth #youcantmakethisup #thatsnasty #whytho #takingabiteoutofcrime.
"All 'oral' arguments will be resolved in a court of jaw,' a comment read.
Hope Childers now knows better than to lie through her teeth, or someone else's, for that matter.
