A United Airlines flight headed to New York was evacuated on Sunday morning after a fire broke out during takeoff at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston.
The incident took place at around 8:35am local time when flames erupted from one of the wings of the Airbus A319 aircraft, which was identified as Flight 1382.
The FAA said the takeoff was aborted due to a "reported engine issue."

Passengers evacuated safely, no injuries reported
Videos shot by passengers showed the wing in flames and recorded their panic, with one passenger shouting, "No, it's on fire!"
A flight attendant asked passengers to remain seated during the incident.
The Houston Fire Department helped with the evacuation and passengers deplaned using stairs and an emergency slide.
No injuries were reported among the 104 passengers and five crew members on board.

FAA launches investigation into United Airlines flight fire
The Houston Fire Department confirmed they didn't have to extinguish any fire in connection with the incident.
Passengers were bused back to the terminal, and a replacement plane was scheduled to leave for New York at 12:30pm.
The incident comes just days after two deadly aviation accidents in the US.
The FAA has announced an investigation into the cause of the fire on United Airlines Flight 1382.
