Trump to meet Kim Jong-un on 12 June in Singapore

The "highly-anticipated" meeting between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un will take place on 12 June in Singapore.
Trump took to Twitter to confirm the same after Kim released three Korean-Americans imprisoned in North Korea.
The North's nuclear weapons development and testing program, which triggered tensions between the US and North Korea, is expected to be discussed at the summit.

Details
Trump's announcement comes hours after prisoners' arrival
The Korean-American prisoners released by Kim arrived at a US military base outside Washington only hours ago.
Upon their arrival, President Trump said that he believes Kim wants to bring the North "into the real world".
He also said that he had high hopes for their meeting next month which would be the first-ever between a US president and a North Korean leader.
