Trump and Putin will form cybersecurity unit, work "constructively"

    What's the story

Post Trump's meeting with Putin, the president of the United States took to Twitter to announce that he has discussed the possibility of forming a cybersecurity unit to ward off election hacking and "many other negative things."

This comes in the backdrop of Russian President Vladimir Putin being accused of tampering 2016 US presidential election which aided in Trump's win.

    Things just got interesting.

    Allegation

    Allegations and explanations

Trump had apparently raised the election tampering issue with his Russian counterpart.

This is how it went down, as per Trump's tweet. "I strongly pressed President Putin twice about Russian meddling in our election. He vehemently denied it. I've already given my opinion....."

If every suspect was asked if he had done anything wrong, the answer would have always been a no. Just saying.

US President Donald Trump added that he has negotiated a ceasefire in parts of Russia which would save lives. Moreover, the time has come for moving forward by working constructively with Russia.

This appears to be the start for more such initiatives in the near future. What would be the effect of such a liaison, is a topic that would give political analysts nightmares.

    Marco Rubio

This will be hard to digest

Comments on this constructive initiative have already started coming in.

Republican Senator Marco Rubio of Florida said that this alliance with Putin to form a "Cybersecurity Unit" is akin to shaking hands with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on a "Chemical Weapons Unit."

The sarcasm is not lost on us.
