A video of the incident that has since gone viral shows the woman trying to place an order at a self-service kiosk when the guard approached her and slapped her face hard.
Alejandro Sanchez, who recorded the incident, told SWNS that the guard had asked the woman to leave but she refused.

"He slapped the s-t out of her. It was crazy. Everybody was shocked," he told the outlet.
After being hit, the woman held her face in disbelief and moved away from the guard.
The video captures a heated conversation between the two before he escorted her out of the restaurant.
Sanchez hinted the woman's appearance might have contributed to the situation escalating because she looked "homeless."

Taco Bell employees' reaction to incident raises questions
Sanchez also said that Taco Bell employees appeared "more concerned with him recording the incident than the slap itself."
Social media users have been left in disbelief but they also said that the video did not tell the full story.
"Doesn't look good, but I never trust videos that start half a second before the violence," a user wrote.
