Sexual harassment: Multiple channels fire talk-show host Charlie Rose
Several big names in movies and media including producer Harvey Weinstein and Oscar-winner Kevin Spacey have been brought down by a flurry of sexual harassment allegations in recent times. Now, renowned American talk-show host Charlie Rose has become the latest addition to the list. Multiple networks including CBS, PBS and Bloomberg have suspended him after eight women accused him of sexual harassment. Here's more.

Rose is one of the most respected talk-show hosts in the US. Since 1991, he has hosted the interview-based show titled "Charlie Rose." Rose has interviewed prominent figures in politics and film, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, former-US president Barack Obama, and author Noam Chomsky.
What are the allegations against Charlie Rose?
The allegations against Charlie Rose were made in a Washington Post report by eight women. The women have accused him of sexually inappropriate behavior ranging from unwanted advances to groping and vulgar phone calls between 1990 and 2011. Two of his former-female employees recalled instances of Rose walking around naked in front of them. He also allegedly groped another woman at a party.
