Of Melania Trump, expensive dresses and her fashion sense
United States First Lady Melania Trump might be deserving of criticism for a lot of things, but her fashion sense isn't one of them (well, unless it gets political). On Sunday, the First Lady wore a dazzling jumpsuit during her state visit to Japan with her husband, President Donald Trump. In case you want to recreate her look, here's how much it cost you.

This is the Trumps' second visit to Japan since entering the White House. They landed in Tokyo on Saturday, ahead of a ceremonial visit to recognize the new emperor. After a brief welcome ceremony at the Akasaka Palace Annex, the First Lady enjoyed a series of performances, including dance, music and floral arrangements, as she immersed herself into Japan's rich culture. Meanwhile, the President attended meetings and a press conference with the Japanese PM.
Melania's gown from Imperial Palace dinner even more expensive
For the six-course dinner with the Emperor and Empress at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo on Monday, the First Lady chose a stunning J. Mendel floor-length caftan gown that featured silver feather-embroidery and a cape draping over the shoulders. The gown is worth $4,490 (Rs. 3.12 lakh). She accessorized her look with diamond studded earrings and silver pumps, matching the embroidery on the gown.
