Iran launches missile attack on Israel
Separately, Iran launched a ballistic missile strike on Israel on Tuesday in retaliation for the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and an Iranian commander in Lebanon. The attack followed Israel's recent deployment of ground forces into southern Lebanon, intensifying its offensive against Hezbollah. "In response to the martyrdom of Martyr Haniyeh, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, and Martyr Nilforoushan, we have targeted the heart of the occupied territories," said the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps after missiles appeared over Israel.
