Mark Zuckerberg's sister sexually harassed on flight, airline commences probe
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg's sister Randi Zuckerberg, reportedly suffered sexual harassment on a flight between Los Angeles and Mazatlan, Mexico. In a letter to Alaska Airlines, she revealed that a male co-passenger seated next to her, made her "uncomfortable" and passed several explicit comments about herself and other female passengers. Randi Zuckerberg is a renowned American businesswoman and sister of Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg. She had previously served as Director of Market Development and spokesperson at Facebook. She founded Zuckerberg Media and currently serves as the editor-in-chief of the digital lifestyle website, Dot Complicated. She has also created an animated TV show centered on a young girl who uses technology in learning.
Alaska Airlines responds
Alaska Airlines said that it had contacted Zuckerberg about the "disturbing" claims and has revoked her accused male co-passenger's travel privileges. "We have zero tolerance for any type of sexual misconduct that creates an unsafe environment for our guests and crew members," it said. The airline also revealed that it was looking into the complaint that flight attendants allowed the harassment to occur.
