Masood Azhar vows to increase terror activities against India, US
What's the story
Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) organized a 'Shohada-e-Kashmir' conference at Rawalakot to commemorate terrorists killed in an encounter in J&K's Pulwama district.
Over thousand JeM cadres attended the event organized by UN-designated terrorist and JeM's founder Masood Azhar. It was also attended by Mazhoor Saif, Masood's younger brother and JeM's Amir in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir Maulana Mufti Khan.
In this event, slogans were raised against India and US.

Details about the encounter in Pulwama
Security forces had launched a cordon-and-search operation in J&K's Pulwama district following a tip-off that some terrorists were holed up there. This led to an encounter in November'17. Three JeM terrorists, including Masood's nephew Talha Rasheed, were killed in the ensuing gun-fight.
Mission
'JeM will continue its mission till it gets completed'
At the conference, Maulana Saif challenged India and US bellowing that "If someone wants Fidayeen missions to stop their attacks then they must stand before them with folded hands."
Another functionary said "JeM cadres will not forget their martyrdom and will continue their mission till it gets completed."
Further, JeM cadres are "doing Jehad for Kashmir but (actually they are) doing it for Allah."
Nawaz Sharif
'Who is Islam's enemy: Nawaz Sharif or Masood Azhar'
Meanwhile, Naveed Masood Hashmi, senior JeM functionary accused former Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif of acting against JeM. He rhetorically stated "Who is the enemy of Islam? Nawaz Sharif or Masood Azhar."
He added that "Nawaz Sharif is Islam's enemy and that is why we aren't getting a victory in Kashmir. Kashmir will get liberated only after a pro-Islamic government is established in Pakistan."

What does this imply?
Such type of gatherings glorifying terrorists killed by Indian security forces confirm that Pakistan-based terror outfits are responsible for terror activities in J&K. Further, they also spew venom against India, exploiting the dissatisfaction of locals. This worsens unrest in the valley.
