At the G20 event, Jaishankar spoke at a session titled "Discussion on the Global Geopolitical Situation."
He emphasized challenges such as Covid pandemic impacts, conflict situations, financial pressures, food security, and climate concerns.
The Jaishankar-Wang meeting comes as both countries are busy rebuilding a working relationship that was strained due to a military standoff at the border since 2020.
Last year, India and China had partially resolved the standoff in Ladakh, hoping to improve bilateral relations.
