45-year-old kills neighbor who kept asking why he wasn't married
What's the story
A 45-year-old man in Indonesia allegedly killed his 60-year-old neighbor as he was annoyed by the latter's persistent questions about why he was not married.
According to local media, the attacker, Parlindungan Siregar, entered Asgim Irianto's residence about 8:00pm on July 29 with a piece of wood and attacked him without warning.

Irianto attempted to escape but was pursued and allegedly beaten further by Siregar.
Local residents intervened, rushing Irianto to the hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries before arrival.
During police questioning, Siregar reportedly confessed his motive for the attack.
Assistant Police Commissioner Maria Marpaung stated that Siregar was determined to kill Irianto due to his constant jesting about Siregar's marital status.
Chicken argument

Before the attack, the two neighbors also had an argument after the chickens they respectively owned went to the other's coop, Detik Jogja reported.
"Apparently there was a problem before. They both had a chicken coop. So, the victim's chickens liked to enter his (the perpetrator's) yard, and his (the perpetrator's) chickens also liked to enter the victim's yard. So they were taunting each other," the police said.
