Shocking allegations about Wasim Akram, others in Reham Khan's new-book
Former wife of Pakistani cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan, Reham Khan, is in trouble. She has been slapped notices by four persons for "defaming" them in her yet-to-be-released book, the manuscript of which was leaked online. Reham's claims pertain to their alleged sex lives, illegal acts and questionable character, which they have denied. Jemima Goldsmith, another former wife of Khan, has also threatened to sue Reham.
'Wasim Akram watched his wife have sex with other men'
In the upcoming book 'Reham Khan,' the author claims former cricketer Wasim Akram used to fulfil his sexual fantasies through his now-dead wife. He would apparently make her have sex with black men while he watched. "This is grossly defamatory, indecent and disrespectful to our client's late wife," the notice by Akram states. "Akram is an internationally well-known former Pakistani cricketer and media personality," it adds.
'Imran's aide arranged abortion for young woman impregnated by him'
Reham goes on to claim that British businessman Syed Zulfiqar Bukhari, Khan's London-based aide, once arranged an abortion for a young woman who was impregnated by the former cricketer. Through most of the chapter titled 'The Door,' Reham has blamed her first husband Dr Ijaz Rehman for their failed marriage. The notice said he was wrongly portrayed as "nasty, mean and cruel."
'PTI media coordinator in illicit affair with Imran Khan'
Reham has also accused Anila Khawaja, media coordinator of Khan's PTI party, of having an illicit affair with him and exercising enormous control over him. According to the notice, Reham called her the 'chief of the harem.' These constitute a "litany of malicious, false, incorrect, highly misleading, callous, wanton, tortuous, prejudicial, damaging, libelous and defamatory" imputations against its clients, the notice adds.
Jemima Goldsmith threatens to sue
'Imran Khan was a cheapskate, didn't spend even on food'
Reham apparently takes on several other celebrities. She writes Imran Khan was a "cheapskate" who kept comparing everything to the 1992 World Cup final. She mentions she's afraid of retaliation by actor Hamza Ali Abbasi, whom she once asked why he wasn't doing "progressive" movies. Meanwhile, Goldsmith has threatened to sue for "defamation and breach of privacy on behalf of my (then) 16-year-old son."
What happens to Reham now?
Reham has been given 14 days to meet conditions by the four people to avoid any action. The notice says she can't publish the manuscript in its current form, and has to give in writing that the allegations in it are false.
