Obama to host Town-Hall in Delhi; you can apply now
What's the story
Former US President Obama will visit India on December 1. As part of an Obama Foundation-organized event, he will host a Town-Hall in Delhi to interact with young Indians.
He will take questions and expand on "what it means to be an active citizen."

What is the Obama Foundation?
Obama Foundation's website says it aims to "equip civic innovators, young leaders, and everyday citizens with the skills and tools they need to create change in their communities." As part of this campaign, Obama has already hosted events with youth in Germany, Indonesia and Brazil.

How did the Obama Foundation describe India?
Praising India, the foundation's statement termed India "as a culturally, religiously, linguistically, and ethnically diverse nation." It credited India's below-35 population for being "engaged and passionate" and "finding innovative solutions to create change."
In a video announcing the tour, Obama said he would like to talk to young people doing "amazing work" across India.
He will also discuss how his foundation can support them.
