Fair deal or no deal: Trump warns Trudeau on NAFTA
Issuing stern warning to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the US President Donald Trump said US will either agree to a 'fair deal' on North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) or there will be no deal at all. "US had been taken advantage of for many decades on trade," Trump said, adding those days are over. NAFTA is being negotiated with Canada and Mexico.

Earlier in the day, Trudeau blamed US Vice President Mike Pence for the collapse of the NAFTA negotiations. He claimed Pence demanded that any deal would automatically expire in five years. "I had to highlight that there was no possibility of any Canadian Prime Minister signing a NAFTA deal that included a 5-year sunset clause, and obviously the visit didn't happen," Trudeau said.
Tensions between US, Canada likely to intensify in coming days
According to The Washington Post, the tensions between the two countries are likely to intensify in the coming days. Trump, Trudeau and several other world leaders are scheduled to meet next week in Canada at a Group of Seven meeting, the daily said.
