Trump tells Abe 'he'll send 23 million Mexicans to Japan'
A new report shed light on a rather unpleasant conversation between US President Donald Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at the G7 Summit in Canada. Speaking about the 'immigration threat' in Europe, Trump reportedly told Abe he would send 25 million Mexicans to Japan and he will be out of office in no time. His remarks, obviously, made many uncomfortable.
Soon, Trump took swipe at Macron about 'terrorists in Paris'
A European official, who revealed inside details of the Summit, added after Abe, Trump turned to his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron. When the topic turned towards Iran and terrorism, Trump told Macron, "You must know about this, Emmanuel, because all the terrorists are in Paris." In November, Paris was shaken by coordinated attacks, including mass shooting and suicide bombing, by ISIS.
G7 Summit leaves world leaders bitter
Bitterness took over the G7 Summit with world leaders standing up against Trump's threats on increasing tariff rates. Exiting the summit, Trump fired angry tweets at host Justin Trudeau and said he told his people to not endorse the communique. Trump's aides alleged the joint communique, approved by all leaders of Group Seven allies, was compromised and they got a bad deal.
Later, Trump tweets photos to prove his camaraderie with others
After G7 Summit, Trump flew to Singapore for his historic meeting with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un. In the latest development, the POTUS tweeted pictures of the G7 Summit in which he smiled with other leaders. "The Fake News Media said that I did not get along with other Leaders at the #G7Summit in Canada. They are once again, WRONG," he tweeted.
