What's the story

An English language school in Zagreb, Croatia's capital, has removed all its billboards featuring Melania Trump after it received a legal threat from her lawyer. Melania's images were allegedly used without her permission alongside the text "Just imagine how far you can go with little bit of English." The ads aimed to motivate Croats to learn English and succeed in life, just like Melania.

Considering that Melania Trump is multilingual, she can very well be the poster girl for a language-learning advert. Other than English, the American First Lady speaks Slovenian, French, Italian and German.

Melania Trump made the campaign 'very successful'

The ad campaign has reportedly received massive local and global publicity and has turned out to be "very successful," according to a spokesperson of the language school. The institute said it didn't mean to mock the First Lady but wanted to show her as a role model. Encouraged by the response, the school shall put new billboards but without her image this time.

Other cases: Melania Trump is fierce about protecting her image

This is not the first time that Melania has tried to protect her image legally. Earlier this year, she won a $150m case against Daily Mail over an article that hinted she was an escort in 1990s. In another case, a Slovenian honey producer was prohibited from naming his labels Melania. But despite the many legal threats, several products are branded 'First Lady' in her hometown.
