Planning to eat a live octopus? You should think again
Things went horribly wrong for a Chinese vlogger when she tried eating a live octopus during a social media livestream, as the eight-limbed animal decided to latch onto her face. The 48-second video, where the vlogger can be seen screaming during the attack, has gone viral. Reportedly, the Chinese woman is a seafood lover and is known as 'seaside girl Little Seven.'
She can be heard screaming 'Look how hard it's sucking!'
In a wild aim to garner more views, the vlogger streamed her attempt to eat the octopus on a Chinese photo-sharing app, Kuaishou. According to the New York Post, when the octopus decided to put up a fight she cried, "I can't remove it!" as she tried to remove its tentacles from her face. She further added, "Look how hard it's sucking!"
She's apparently planning to attempt same in her next video
After managing to remove the octopus from her face, she realized that the animal had left her with a bleeding cut. A mature octopus has over 250 suckerlike discs on each of its eight arms. Moreover, each sucker holds thousands of chemical receptors. Reportedly, after she got rid of it, the vlogger declared that she would attempt to eat it in her next video.
She got what she deserve, viewer commented on viral video
Meanwhile, no one can deny that she has gained popularity and criticism at the same time. One of the viewers said, "I think she got what she deserve. She were trying to eat it alive and the octopus did the same afterwards. Serve her right.." "It's only fair to fight back, the octopus is literally fighting for its life," another viewer commented.
