Trump Chicken "steaks out" in protest near White House
US President Donald Trump is away from the White House on vacation. And already, we may see a coop in the West Wing. A 30-ft, inflatable chicken having Trump-like hair was seen rising like a "beak-in" just south of the White House. Documentary filmmaker Taran Singh Brar placed the balloon there to make a statement that Trump is a "weak and ineffective leader."
Trump's approval rating stands at a lowly 38%
US President Donald Trump claims his support base is "bigger and stronger than ever before" but his approval ratings tell a different story. Six months into his presidency, only 38% of Americans approve of Trump, the lowest point in his term, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS. Around three-fourths of citizens say they don't trust what the White House says.
Brar received permission from authorities to display Trump chicken balloon
Seattle artist Casey Latiolais has designed the 30-ft balloon which was manufactured in China. Brar said Trump is "too afraid to release his tax returns, too afraid to stand up to Vladimir Putin and playing chicken with North Korea." Interestingly, Brar received a permit from the National Park Service and the Secret Service to display the balloon.
Trump chicken balloons debuted earlier
The Trump chicken balloons have been used in protests against the Trump's administration. This includes the Tax Day marches in which demonstrators demanded that Trump release his tax returns. In fact, Brar had organized a tax march in Chicago.
