    Suicide attack in Cameroon kills over 30

    What's the story

    Four suicide bombers attacked a market and town on Monday in Cameroon's Far North region near the border with Nigeria.

    The explosions left more than 30 dead and at least 60 others injured.

    Two attackers targeted the market in Bodo and two others detonated explosives in town.

    Officials suspect Nigerian terror group Boko Haram to be behind the attacks.

    2 female suicide bombers killed in Cameroon

    Two female suicide bombers blew themselves up in the Far North region of Cameroon.

    The bombers were attempting to carry out an attack when they were stopped by locals, causing them to trigger the explosives.

    Several locals were injured in the attack; however, the only deaths reported due to the attacks were those of the attackers themselves.

    Female suicide bombers attack mosque in Cameroon

    Two female suicide bombers attacked a mosque in Kolofata near along Cameroon's border with Nigeria.

    The attack left 10 worshippers dead and dozens injured.

    Governor Midjiyawa Bakari claimed that Boko Haram was suspected to be behind the attacks.

    Boko Haram has been constantly targeting interests in Chad, Niger and Cameroon because of their support to Nigeria in battling the Boko haram insurgency.

    Terrorists attack mosque in Cameroon

    In the second such incident in less than a week, suicide bombers targeted a mosque during the commencement of morning prayers.

    The blast, in the village of Nguetchewe in Cameroon's Far North region left four dead and scores wounded.

    The attack wsa allegedly carried out by a young boy suspected to be part of the Boko Haram terror group.
