A blast ripped through the area outside the US embassy in Beijing this morning. The Indian embassy is located nearby. Sources told ANI it was a low-intensity explosion, and that there were no casualties. According to some reports, the blast occurred after a self-immolation attempt near the structure in Chaoyang District. Photos on social media showed smoke rising and police vehicles gathered at the spot.
