'Andrew Tate nearly choked me unconscious during violent sex': Girlfriend
What's the story
One of the girlfriends of controversial figure Andrew Tate, Bri Stern, has accused him of nearly choking her unconscious during a sexual encounter at Beverly Hills Hotel.
The incident, which took place two weeks ago, prompted her to report to the Beverly Hills police, TMZ reported, citing sources.
In her report, Stern claimed Tate choked her during sex on March 11, and when she asked him to stop as it got rougher, he ignored her pleas.
Aftermath
Stern's injuries and medical diagnosis
After Tate fell asleep, Stern took photos of her injuries, reportedly revealing bruising on the side of her face.
Two days later, while in NYC for work, she went to a hospital where she was found to be "post-concussive." This diagnosis was corroborated by medical records acquired by TMZ.
She reported the incident only after Tate and his brother Tristan left for Romania for a Monday check-in regarding their criminal case.
Relationship dynamics
Stern's relationship with Tate and history of abuse
Stern and Tate's relationship started last June when they met in Romania on her modeling assignment.
Stern's friends claimed that although Tate was verbally abusive throughout their relationship, this was the first time he physically assaulted her.
Alleged text messages exchanged between the couple show Tate wanting to beat or hit her several times.
Legal issues
Tate's legal troubles and response to allegations
Andrew and Tristan were arrested in 2022 in Romania on charges of running a criminal ring that allegedly lured women for sexual exploitation. Andrew is also facing separate rape allegations. Both brothers have denied all charges.
None has been convicted of any crime.
"I'm a free person who has not been convicted of anything," Andrew said outside a police station in Romania's Voluntari. He further pledged to "comply with all judicial authorities everywhere around the world because I'm completely innocent."
