Denmark Prince Nikolai is the latest Internet sensation!
Chiseled jaw line, light-colored eyes, wavy hair and a toned body - no this isn't a description of a model, but the newest Internet sensation, Prince Nikolai of Denmark, who turned 19 two days back. On the occasion, a new portrait of Nikolai was released showing him wearing a navy blazer, white jeans and blue shirt. His cute and innocent smile completed the look.
While some gushed over his looks, some professed their love
While some gushed how handsome and amazing he looks, others professed their "love" for him. Son of Prince Joachim and grandson of Queen Margrethe, Nikolai is seventh to the throne. No wonder the Internet is going crazy over the photo.
Nikolai doesn't benefit from Crown, official duty not mandated
Many believe the way Nikolai is progressing in his life it shows he has no interest in the throne, although it's unlikely he'd ever get there. For one, he doesn't collect an income from the Crown and two, he isn't required to perform any official duty. His father has made it amply clear that "Nikolai's life must take place entirely after his own plan."

In fact, some reports suggest that Nikolai has been cut off from the royal family financially and will not get any land, money, or title from Margrethe and her husband Henrik. But that hasn't deterred him from carving his own path. Nikolai is probably the first royal to become a model and walk the runway for Burberry designer Christopher Bailey's last catwalk show.

He also has a modeling contract with Scoop Models, Denmark and has walked at the Dior Homme show in Paris in June. His mother Alexandra, Countess of Frederiksborg, was married to Joachim for nine years before divorcing him in 2004. Nikolai also has a younger brother, 15-year-old Prince Felix and two step-siblings from his father's second wife, Princess Marie whom Joachim married in 2008.
