Previous safety concerns raised by Air India crew
Prior to the incident, Air India's crew had expressed safety concerns about the hotel. Their complaints included inadequate security measures, poorly lit corridors, an unattended reception area, and instances of unknown individuals knocking on hotel room doors. These issues were brought to the attention of hotel management but were not adequately addressed, The Hindu reported. The attacker was apprehended and turned over to the police.
