And, United might be more than willing to have a reunion with him as soon as possible, since they look to bolster their options in their forward line-up.
Notably, United are off to one of the worst starts in the history of Premier League.

Milan calling
Ibrahimovic also linked to a return to AC Milan
Besides United, Serie A giants AC Milan, too, look interested in the services of Zlatan.
However, former Milan striker, Paolo Rossi, has claimed that he could hardly solve Milan's ongoing problems.
"I don't know if he's likely to come back. He is a player who has had an extraordinary career, but he cannot solve Milan's problems," said Rossi to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Information
Rossi does not consider Ibrahimovic as long-term prospect
"They put a patch on one hole, but the water comes out of many others. He would not be an investment useful for the future, but only for the next six months. So, what's the use?" Rossi wondered.
