Welsh footballer Gareth Bale played a fine role as Real Madrid registered a 3-1 win over Celta Vigo on Saturday. Following the win, manager Zinedine Zidane almost confirmed that Gareth Bale is going nowhere and would stay with Los Blancos this season. Speaking of the match, it was a commendable performance by Madrid, as they drubbed Celta 3-1, despite a red card for Luka Modric. Bale assisted Karim Benzema to score the opener in the 12th minute, followed by a couple more from Toni Kroos and Lucas Vázquez in the 61st and 80th minute, respectively. Celta came up with a consolation goal in the 91st minute.

Commenting further on Bale, Zidane said that their focus was to perform this season and nothing else. He added that while Eden Hazard's injury came as a shock to all, it hardly affected the mindset they had for Bale. "Gareth, James [Rodriguez] and all the players here are going to defend this shirt," continued Zidane, as reported by The Sun.

Asides, he also praised efforts of his players, especially Bale and Vinicius. Although there is still some time before the Spanish transfer window closes, Bale has strong performance to show at Madrid. Till date, he has scored 102 goals in 232 matches for Madrid.
