Yuvraj Singh might get into coaching after 2-3 years
Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has said he could get into coaching after two-three years. The southpaw, who is currently plying his trades in the Abu Dhabi T10 League, is happy to be playing outside India. After having earlier featured in the Global T20 Canada, Yuvi is playing for Maratha Arabians in the T10 League. Here's more.
Yuvi looking forward to playing a few leagues
Yuvraj said he is happy to play leagues outside India and is enjoying the overall experience. "At the moment, I'm very happy playing leagues outside India. I get to see new countries, play with different players, and there are a lot of leagues coming up in next 2-3 years. So I'm looking forward to playing a few leagues."
Yuvraj to get into coaching slowly
After playing his second match for Maratha Arabians, Yuvraj said he hasn't yet decided on coaching. "I haven't really decided yet if I want to coach or not in the IPL or something like that. I'm going to get into it slowly," he said.
Yuvraj opens up on T10 cricket
The former Indian southpaw has revealed his experience in playing T10 cricket and felt there's hardly any time in this format. "The speed of the game has increased and we've become slow! It took a while to get used to, you've got to be ready before you go in and remain switched on because there's hardly any time (in this format)," he said.
Yuvraj retired from international cricket in June
In June 2019, Yuvraj went on to retire from international cricket. Prior to that, Yuvraj went on to feature in 40 Tests, 304 ODIs and 58 T20Is for Team India. After helping India win the ICC World Cup 2011, Yuvi even battled cancer and scripted an unthinkable comeback. He also had a long career in the Indian Premier League and won two titles.
A look at Yuvraj's performance in Abu Dhabi T10 League
Yuvraj has so far played two matches for Maratha Arabians. He has amassed scores of 6 and 14 in the two outings so far. Yuvi will want to make his presence felt and show fans why he is such a big name in the game.
