Yuvraj Singh on comparisons between Shivam Dube and him
What's the story
Youngster Shivam Dube made his debut for India in the opening T20I against Bangladesh on Sunday.
The all-rounder was likened to former Indian legend Yuvraj Singh after the former was seen practicing at the nets ahead of the first T20I.
However, Yuvraj has said Dube should not be compared to him.
Here's more on the same.
Similarities
Dube's similarities with Yuvi drew attention
The BCCI had earlier posted a video of Dube on Twitter, ahead of the opening T20I against Bangladesh.
Dube was practicing and what fans noticed were the similarities with Yuvraj.
Dube was all guns blazing at the nets, playing big shots, what was conspicuous was his back-lift, which is more or less similar to the one used by Yuvi.

Name
He should make his own name: Yuvraj on Dube
Yuvi said the talented Dube should make his own name.
"Let the guy start his career first, and after a while when he reaches a certain level, then you start comparing him with someone. I don't think he should be compared to me. He should make his own name. He has the talent," Yuvraj told reporters during an event in Mumbai.
Dube
I just want to continue performing well: Dube
Ahead of his debut, the BCCI uploaded a segment of 'Chahal TV' in which Dube spoke on his expected foray into international cricket.
"I just want to continue performing well. I am playing for India now so it is a very proud moment. There will be more eyes on me and so I need to work hard and continue the good work," he said.
Outing
Dube had a poor outing for Team India
Dube did not have a great start for Team India.
He scored one run before being caught by the bowler.
He bowled just three deliveries in which he gave away nine runs.
India lost the opening T20I to go 0-1 down in the three-match series.
Dube will hope to get another shot on Thursday in Rajkot.
A lot depends on him performing better.
