#GamingBytes: Fortnite exclusive bundle comes to Xbox One S
Fortnite, by Epic, is one of the most popular Battle Royale games. Though it is free to play, console companies keep creating exclusive bundles for this game. The latest one is by Microsoft, where it introduced the exclusive Xbox One S Fortnite bundle through the Inside Xbox stream on Tuesday, September 25. Read to know all about the exclusive bundle here.
What does the exclusive bundle contain?
The exclusive Xbox bundle will come with 2000 V-Bucks and exciting special cosmetics. The V-Bucks costs around $20 but the exclusive cosmetics can only be procured in-game through the bundle. These include a skin called Eon which is a legendary item, a pickaxe which has been re-colored from season 4's Onslaught. It also offers a re-colored glider which is based on the Terminus model.
How to get the exclusive bundle?
The exclusive bundle can be purchased at the price of $299. This is the standard price of an Xbox One S and it will be available in stores, later this week. However, gamers can pre-order the bundle at the official Microsoft Store. With exclusive bundles for consoles, Fortnite is expanding its reach across all platforms, having already established a foothold in PC.
It's all about the timing
The exclusive Fortnite bundle for Xbox has been strategically placed close to the starting of Season 6. Players can start off the new season with exclusive skins, pickaxes, and gliders. Notably, season 6 starts this week with various new cosmetics and map changes.
