Hall underwent hip replacement surgery last week
According to New York Post, the 63-year-old Hall underwent hip replacement surgery last week but suffered serious complications due to a loose blood clot. The surgery took place after the wrestler suffered a broken hip.
Hall signed with WWE in 1992
Hall wrestled for various organizations across the country throughout the 1980s. He then joined the World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1991, as per WWE. Hall signed with WWE in 1992 and tasted success, performing as Razor Ramon. As per WWE, his matches against fellow wrestler Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania X and SummerSlam 1995 are "both considered all-time classics by fans and industry insiders alike."
Hall was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame
Hall rejoined WCW in 1996 and performed under his real name as part of the popular wrestling group nWo (New World Order). Fellow legends Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash were also part of the wrestling group. according to WWE, Hall was then inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as Razor Ramon in 2014 and again as a member of the nWo in 2020.
