Preview and final predictions for WWE WrestleMania 35
The pro-wrestling world is all set for the grandest event of the year, as the 35th edition of WWE's WrestleMania will be held on Sunday. With a record 16 matches to headline the edition, the main event would, for the first time, feature women. Further, there would be some prolific matches involving men as well. Here we present the preview, along with the predictions.
Can Bobby Lashley survive The Demon?
Reigning Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley involves in unfair means to win. While it was in a similar fashion that he gained the title from Finn Balor, things would be different this time around. Balor has promised to bring The Demon version of himself. Moreover, he is unbeaten in the main roster, fighting as The Demon. Prediction: Balor pins Lashley to become new Intercontinental Champion.
The Miz vows to fight for his father's pride
Shane McMahon's heel turn was highly predictable. However, his decision to lay hands on The Miz's father was highly criticized. The plot has indeed helped to turn the response of the fans in Miz's favor. Moreover, the Falls Count Anywhere stipulation makes the feud even more interesting. With personal pride and honor at stake, Miz would do anything to thrash Shane. Prediction: Miz wins.
Game Over for The Animal?
Batista's return to WWE as a heel has, once again, led to him being booed. And, all of it was done to draw Triple H's attention, who has never beaten him in the past. Nonetheless, Hunter promises to make The Animal retire in the No Holds Barred match, whereas, it is unlikely that Hunter is retiring anytime soon. Prediction: Triple-H wins.
Will the Roman Empire rise again?
Roman Reigns has been the crowd favorite, especially after his fight against leukemia. However, Drew McIntyre does not seem happy with his return and believes he should have stayed retired. We believe this is the beginning of a strong future feud. Prediction: McIntyre wins.
Can the Boss 'N Hug connection reign supreme?
The Women's Tag-Team Championship drew good response from pro-wrestling critics. It was acclaimed even more after the Boss 'N Hug (Banks and Bayley) were crowned the first-ever champions. Notwithstanding, the duo faces the strongest test when they take on three other teams in a Fatal-4-Way match. However, it is unlikely that they would drop the title so soon. Prediction: Banks-Bayley retain.
Can The Beast Slayer 'Burn It Down'?
The WWE Universe was ecstatic after Seth Rollins won the Royal Rumble this year to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. Anyways, things won't be easy for Rollins as Lesnar is indeed a beast and a force to reckon with in the ring. Howbeit, with the rumors of Lesnar leaving WWE for UFC going strong, it looks Rollins will win. Prediction: Rollins wins.
11 years in the making of Kofi Kingston
Kofi Kingston became an overnight sensation following his splendid performance to qualify for the WWE Championship match at Fastlane pay-per-view. After overcoming the odds set by Vince McMahon, WWE has given Kofi his first shot at the Championship in 11 years. Nevertheless, it would be interesting to see if Kofi is allowed to become the Champion, considering Vince's reservations against him. Prediction: Kofi wins.
An Irish Lass-kicking awaits the Baddest Women on the Planet
Becky Lynch has been a crowd favorite, despite her heel turn at SummerSlam last year. Meanwhile, Ronda Rousey has turned heel following the crowd's betrayal, while Charlotte Flair has been heavily booed for her over involvement in the issue. Thus, we believe it's finally time for Becky to shine, as she is likely to pin Charlotte, whereas Ronda feuds Charlotte ahead. Prediction: Becky wins.
