WWE: Preview and last-minute predictions for Survivor Series 2019
WWE is all set to host its next pay-per-view of the year, Survivor Series. The event would be held at the Allstate Arena in Chicago. The pay-per-view is traditionally known for the war of brands, between Raw and SmackDown, only with NXT coming into the picture for the first time ever. And here, we present the preview and last-minute predictions.
Will Survivor Series become Undisputed?
The Tag-Team champions of all the brands are extremely strong. While The Viking Raiders have put Raw on notice of late, The New Day are charismatic as always. However, NXT Tag-Team Champions, The Undisputed Era, are at a different level. Furthermore, their four-member alliance looks as strong as ever. Expect a tough fight, but NXT might enjoy the edge. Prediction: Undisputed Era wins.
An Undisputed Strong-Style finish to a Phenomenal match?
The mid-card champions of WWE are extremely talented as well. While AJ Styles is the United States Champion from Raw, Shinsuke Nakamura is the Intercontinental Champion, representing SmackDown. As for NXT, Roderick Strong, of the Undisputed Era, is the North American Champion. Realistically, Strong doesn't stand a chance. And, the main battle would be between Styles and Nakamura. Prediction: Styles wins.
Can 619 pull off a miracle to tame The Beast?
In one of the odd matches of the show, WWE Champion Brock Lesnar would put his title on the line against Rey Mysterio. Moreover, to make things interesting, it is a No Holds Barred match. While it does give Lesnar an advantage, it would be interesting to see if Cain Velasquez inserts himself into the picture. Prediction: Lesnar retains.
Women's Tag-Team Elimination is probably the best of all
In one of the traditional Tag-Team Elimination matches of the show, five women from each band would be in action. A lot has happened between the women over the past few weeks, with either Raw or SmackDown women standing tall on all the occasions. However, come Sunday, it could be a whole different story. Prediction: NXT wins.
Will Daniel Bryan pay the price of his past sin?
In the other odd match of the show, Universal Champion Bray Wyatt would put his title on the line against former world champion Daniel Bryan. While Wyatt randomly targeted Bryan with a sneak attack on SmackDown, it was later revealed that Bryan had betrayed Wyatt a few years back. However, with The Fiend looking unstoppable, Bryan might lose this time. Prediction: Fiend retains.
Men's Tag-Team Elimination could see NXT becoming Undisputed
In the other Tag-Team Elimination match of the show, five men from each brand would lock horns. While NXT is yet to announce its team, Raw and SmackDown are star-studded. As per reports, the Undisputed Era is likely to be the center of attraction of the match, as both Raw and SmackDown could be on the receiving end. Prediction: NXT wins.
The women to fight it out to determine The Man
If there's a tie between either brand, this match could well turn out to be the decider. Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch, along with SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley and NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler are all set to put up a hell of a show. While Shayna looks the strongest, for now, WWE would choose to keep Becky on top. Prediction: Becky wins.
