Jinder Mahal retains WWE Championship title
Jinder Mahal defeated Shinsuke Nakamura to retain his WWE Championship title for the third time at the WWE pay-per-view SummerSlam 2017. Mahal's win came as a surprise as Nakamura was being considered as the favorite among the two. It is reported that their feud will continue in the 'Hell In A Cell', wherein Nakamura will get a chance to defeat Mahal.
WWE RAW Tag Team championship
Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose became the RAW Tag Team Champions after defeating previous champions Sheamus and Cesaro in one of the better matches of this season.
Brock Lesnar is the Universal Champion
Brock Lesnar defended his WWE Universal title after he survived a Fatal 4-way match against Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe. Lesnar survived a horrific blow from Strowman in a match which also saw Lesnar being carried away on the stretcher. Most of the action took place between Lesnar, Strowman and Reigns, with Joe only entering intermittently.
AJ Styles, Sasha Banks win big titles
AJ Styles kept hold of his WWE US title after he defeated Kevin Owens in an enthralling match. The match was surrounded with controversies which included Owens arguing with the guest referee Shane McMahon. In the WWE women's RAW Championships, Sasha Banks became a four time champion, as she made Alexa Bliss tap out of a 'Bank Statement' in a fiercely contested match.
Natalya Neidhart new women's champion
Natalya Neidhart defeated Smackdown women's champion Naomi to lift the title for the first titme. Natalya had emerged as a winner in Battleground after defeating Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Lana and Tamina in a Fatal 5-Way match to face Naomi in the finals.
