He worked as a bank teller
Have you ever wondered what did Hogan do prior to becoming a wrestler? He worked in a bank, but couldn't hold on to the job for more than two days. He worked as a bank teller before changing his priorities and immediately pursued pro-wrestling as a career. Although the job does not feature in his resume, it was still a part of his life.
First to win Royal Rumble twice
Hogan always had a knack of scripting records in the ring. He was also the first one to win the Royal Rumble twice, in 1990 and 1991. With this, he etched his name in the record books. The record was later matched by Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels, while Hogan truly remains one of the Royal Rumble legends to date.
He choked TV personality Richard Belzer LIVE on air
Hogan was once promoting his WrestleMania match on a TV show, with host Richard Belzer. During the show, Belzer provoked Hogan by asking about his deadly moves. Hogan displayed his move by applying a chin lock, which made him unconscious for a while. Although Belzer immediately got back up, Hogan was later sued by him twice for $5 million each.
