In the round of 16, 21-year-old Sehrawat defeated North Macedonia's Vladimir Egorov by technical superiority.
A comfortable 10-0 win gave the Macedonian no chance. Sehrawat first executed a solid single leg takedown and then kept piling up the points.
In the first period, he scored six technical points (2, 2, 1, 1).
In the second period, he scored four technical points (2, 2).

A passivity was issued against Zelimkhan after 1.5 minutes into the bout. The Albanian failed to score in 30 seconds, handing Sehrawat a point.
