Five wrestlers Vince McMahon would want back in the WWE
There is a shelf life for everything and everyone, no matter how great they have been or how big their influence was. In the same manner, though some wrestlers have been deemed past their prime by WWE, they share cordial relationships with Vince McMahon and can return once again. So who are the wrestlers whose return can be a dream-come-true? Find out right here.
How about Matt Hardy returning to WWE?
Matt Hardy has been an icon of the industry along with his brother Jeff. While he was working for Impact, Hardy developed his character and became one of the most sought-after stars of the company. Though he might not wrestle anymore, Hardy has the potential to return with a backstage role, and McMahon himself wanted Hardy to work on production roles for the company.
How about some Caribbean cool once again?
Carlito was also one great heel whom the fans have always loved to hate, and his return will surely be a major boost for the company. His on-mic skills shot him to fame within days of debuting for the WWE, with feuds against top stars like John Cena and Triple H. McMahon had even tried to bring him back in 2018.
Is Ryback's return possible?
Ryback always spoke highly of McMahon since leaving WWE and Vince, too, always had a soft corner for The Big Guy. Ryback's huge muscular shape is something McMahon had always admired, and Ryback was featured in important matches in all the pay-per-view events when he was with the WWE. A return by Ryback with a feud against someone like Strowman would really interest fans.
Who is next? Goldberg, maybe?
Vince McMahon's soft corner for big guys also applies to Goldberg, whose return and feud against Brock Lesnar was extremely well-done and booked by WWE. Goldberg was also inducted into the Hall of Fame by McMahon as a sign of his appreciation for the guy. McMahon would surely love Goldberg to return, even for a single match if possible.
Can Vince bring back AJ Lee once again?
AJ Lee, some say, is the one who sparked the women's revolution in WWE, as it was with her that the company started taking women's wrestling seriously once again. McMahon can still bring her back and make her feud with the top female stars of the company. However, Lee is married to WWE's most infamous prodigal son, CM Punk, thus making things somewhat difficult.
