In a stunning achievement, England's Nat Sciver-Brunt, has become the first player to record 400 runs in a single Women's Premier League (WPL) season.
The star all-rounder achieved the incredible milestone while playing for the Mumbai Indians (MI) against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Brabourne Stadium on March 11.
She scored 69 runs off just 35 balls, however, the Royal Challengers won by 11 runs.

Sciver-Brunt surpasses previous WPL records
Sciver-Brunt's historic achievement came when she crossed the 53-run mark during her innings, taking her total runs in WPL 2025 to an impressive 400.
This milestone sets a new record as no other player has ever reached this score in a single edition of the WPL before.
The previous highest was held by Ellyse Perry (Royal Challengers Bengaluru) with 372 runs, followed by the Aussie all-rounder again with 347 runs and Meg Lanning (Delhi Capitals) with 345 runs.

Sciver-Brunt leads Orange Cap race despite MI's loss
With a staggering 416 runs in just eight matches this season, Sciver-Brunt is also topping the Orange Cap race.
In her innings against RCB, she smashed 9 fours and 2 sixes.
However, despite her phenomenal performance, Mumbai Indians lost the match by 11 runs.
Despite the loss, MI finished second in the WPL 2025 league stage, with 10 points from eight matches.

Sciver-Brunt, who made her WPL debut in 2023, has racked up 920 runs from 27 matches at an incredible average of 46.00 so far. She has also picked up 28 wickets with an economy rate of 7.67.

Despite not getting a direct berth in the final for the third consecutive season, MI will take on Gujarat Giants in an Eliminator on March 13.
The winner of this clash will face Meg Lanning's Delhi Capitals in the final on March 15.
